SAINT CLOUD, Minn. - A 22-year-old man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly sexually assaulting two 4-year-old children.

James Marek was arrested on multiple counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct after an investigation involving a child maltreatment case.

According to authorities, Marek lives on the same block where the assaults occurred.

According to the criminal complaint, the assaults happened on the 300 block of 19 ½ Avenue North between June 2009 and January 2010.

Authorities have not released whether or not Marek was related to the children

A 22-year-old St. Cloud man was charged Thursday with raping a boy and a girl, now both 4, in an abuse case that stretched over many months.

James Henry Lee Marek, was charged with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. The criminal complaint said Marek admitted the abuse to police.

The girl told her mother that Marek had played the "naked butt game" with her while at the child's house. The mother said she sometimes let Marek sleep over at their St. Cloud house.

A similar scenario was told to police by the boy, who would sometimes have Marek as his baby sitter.

In confessing to police, Marek said both children on several occasions were crying during the abuse and asked him to stop.

Police Lt. Jerry Edblad said authorities do not believe there are more victims "at this point."

If a four year old were born on a Leap Year, that would mean that she was.....sixteen. Well...I suppose that would still be illegal...at least here in the United States.

Wouldn't a 4 year old born on a leap year only be 1? Isn't that the way it works? You only celebrate your birthday every 4 years?
