Pit bull not so lucky...
http://www.ketv.com/news/22704106/detail.htmlAnthony Hollman faces a charge of felony animal cruelty and child abuse.
Hollman's girlfriend called police Saturday night and said Hollman began drinking and poking her dog with a broomstick.
She said Hollman then threw the space heater at the dog, hitting it on the head. The dog then bit Hollman on the leg, police said.
After the bite, Hollman grabbed a 12-inch butcher's knife and stabbed the dog three times, police said. The woman said her 15-year-old son witnessed the attack.
Police said it took animal control officers 20 minutes to coax the dog from under a bed. There was no immediate report Monday on the dog's condition.
The woman said Hollman had a history of hitting the dog with a broomstick.
