Ah yes the outstanding social service system of Wisconsin.....Given the absolutely brilliant way they handled the Crystal Keith/Christopher Thomas fiasco, its a wonder this child isn't dead too....(Sarcasm off)

And why in the fuck would they give custody to the paternal grandparents?

They managed to raise their child straight into prison......so what DCFS figured they did such an outstanding job with their own kids, they were somehow deserving of a second chance? (OK NOW I am done being sarcastic!)

Milwaukee Man Found Guilty Of Killing 2 Women, 2 Children
Prosecutor Called Man's Alibi Preposterous

MILWAUKEE -- A jury has found a 22-year-old man guilty of killing two children and two women in Milwaukee.

Desmond Laster and 24-year-old Anthony Barnes were accused of going with 19-year-old Brittney Robertson to her apartment and helping rob her roommate Rachel Thompson.

A criminal complaint said Robertson stabbed Thompson and helped Laster suffocate Thompson's 3- and 4-year-old sons on Feb. 26, 2010.

Barnes agreed to plead guilty in exchange for prosecutors' recommendation of a sentence of 30 to 35 years

Man gets life sentence in 4 slayings

Desmond Dejuan Laster was sentenced Friday to four life terms without chance of parole for killing two little boys, their mother and a female accomplice last year.

A jury in March convicted Laster, 22, of four counts of being party to the crime of first-degree intentional homicide, as well as of arson and of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Laster made no statement during his sentencing hearing before Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Jeffrey Conen.

Evidence presented at his trial showed that Laster and two accomplices - Brittney Robertson, 19, and Anthony Barnes, 24 - went to 23-year-old Rachel Thompson's south side apartment in February 2010.

The group bound and stabbed Thompson, suffocated her two sons, ages 3 and 4, set her apartment on fire and fled with Thompson's 6-week-old baby.

The baby was found unharmed at a church a few hours later.
