Hillsborough County deputies say they have located and arrested Andre Watkins, the suspect wanted in connection with the shooting rampage that occurred Friday night.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office says deputies located Watkins, 53, at the Marathon Gas Station at I-4 and Forbes Road. Watkins had just finished pumping gas when deputies surrounded his vehicle. They were able to take him into custody before he could get back into his car.
Deputies say Watkins was arrested without incident. He was taken to the Orient Road Jail earlier Saturday morning and face charges of first degree murder, armed carjacking, armed kidnapping, and 3 counts of attempted murder.
Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee said prior to the arrest, deputies had been in contact with Watkins over the phone. Gee said Watkins was armed and dangerous and had made threats against the deputies.

Deputies say three people were shot and one was carjacked in the shooting spree, which began Friday around 6:30 p.m. Detectives believe that the suspect, identified as Watkins, knew or was acquainted with each of the victims.
Deputies say Watkins got into a pickup truck outside a 7-11 at Linebaugh Avenue and Plantation Boulevard and forced the driver at gunpoint to go to a home on Chadbourne Drive.
Upon arrival, deputies say Watkins got out of the truck and began shooting at another car that was occupied by 2 males and a female. The two men were able to run away but the female, identified by the Sheriff's Office as 19-year-old Alyssa Aracich, was shot and killed.
According to deputies, Watkins then forced the pickup truck driver to take him back to the 7-11, where he got into his own car, drove to his mother's house on Wingate Drive, and got into a gold Chevy Malibu. The pickup truck driver has not been identified as the Sheriff's Office is considering him a witness.
Detectives say that Watkins then drove to a home on Brightside Drive, where he knocked on the door and shot the person who answered it. That victim, identified by deputies as 27-year-old Areil Love, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Deputies say Watkins next went to the BP station at Linebaugh Avenue and Anderson Road, where he shot the store clerk and fled. According to the Sheriff's Office, Akbar Alwani, 57, is also in critical condition at St. Joseph's Hospital.
