Atlanta police have arrested two men and are looking for a third in connection with the death of a man who was strangled in his southwestern Atlanta home.
Clifton Kilpatrick and Desmon Ivery, both 19, were taken into custody Monday night and are facing murder charges in the death of 66-year-old Herman Upshaw.
Police found Upshaw, who walked with a cane because he was disabled from a stroke, bound and gagged inside a closet Friday afternoon in his home on Wells Drive.
Upshaw's 88-year-old aunt interrupted the assailants when she went to the home to check on him. They also tied and gagged her before stealing her silver Mercedes-Benz.
The woman was able to free herself, and the police were called soon after.
