Note, Playing Cards Taunt Police At Latest Vehicle Fire Scenes

YORK COUNTY, Pa. -- Two more cars were burned early Wednesday morning in York County. And once again, a trail of playing cards and a taunting note were left for investigators. At about 3:15 a.m., a pickup truck was set on fire on Whitcraft Lane in Shrewsbury. About 40 minutes later, a van was set on fire on Meadow Street in New Freedom.

.In both cases, mirroring three previous incidents going back to last week, playing cards were left at the scenes. There were written messages on some of them. One read, "All the kings are dancing. Seriously, stop trying."

Police said they are still trying to figure out the meaning of it all. Some of the victims find the whole thing very unsettling. http://www.wgal.com/news/22419168/detail.html

I click on the link and am greeted by a picture of a burned out truck and an ad that says "what's your ride worth?" Strange.

LOL Makes perfect sense to me. It's right about then you'll be wanting to know how much you can legitimately claim against your insurance.

    Cannot say I blame them.......

From the article it doesn't sound like there is much of a pattern, - he has burnt SUVs, a pick-up truck, and a van. The comments suggest that he might be environmentally motivated and going after older, more polluting cars, but who can tell? And then there is the victim who thinks it might be racially motivated. Makes me wonder who the rest of the victims were........

Would be interesting to know whether it is random or not, - and to be racially motivated, the perpetrator would need to know the victims. One shouldn't be able to tell from the car and the outside of a sleeping house what race the inhabitants are, - or could one?
