Justice is all we want here too. I understand it hurts to have to deal with us. All I ask is for you to understand why we ask those question. If you took a second to read through some of our other threads you'd see that it is often that somebody knew about the abuse and did nothing. After reading that a thousand times it is one of the first questions we ask. Like I said I am sure everybody in your family feels enough guilt and grief over what happened, we just want to make sure that there was nobody who looked the other way while she was abused.

I hope the baby beater is sent away and your family can get some kind of closer. Please just remember we don't like to be judged here any more than your family likes to be judged in the media.

HPixley59, it must be very upsetting to see your family discussed in such a way, particularly when you're obviously still recovering from the tragic loss of that baby girl.

So, explain the story. Why did dad lose custody? Why was he taking parenting classes? Why did he not know where the baby was? Did he work? How many children does he have in total? Does he have other children with any other women that he loves and cares for?

What sort of work does dad do? What was he interested in? I'd be interested in learning about him as a person.

First off....how could the Dad not know his wife got tested for drugs by CPS...I don't think they kidnapped her off the street and made her take a test....and they don't usually go out and test people all willy nilly do they?? They must have had a REASON...such as prior involvement with the family...or reports from people about drug use in the home...or reports of neglectful/abusive/unsuitable conditions in the home.
