William Aubrey Suarez, 61, was accused after having inappropriate conversations and kisses with the minor, according to a Santa Rosa County arrest report.
When confronted by a Santa Rosa County deputy on Dec. 21, Suarez, a Navarre resident, claimed his innocence.
“Oh, I see where this is going,” he said.
“I didn’t do anything any different this time than any other time (the victim) was around me.”
Suarez was not related to the victim but has known her for several years. He visited the victim’s house and claimed he had permission to take her to his home “to hang out.”
At his house, Suarez started drinking whiskey and coke. He grabbed the victim by the waist and sat her on his lap. He asked what she wanted for Christmas and started kissing her in the mouth, holding the victim’s face to keep her from turning away from him.
He asked her if she was a virgin or if sex was on her “to-do” list.
Suarez continued asking inappropriate questions,
describing sex acts to the minor. Suarez also
kissed the victim’s toes and feet.
When confronted by the deputy, Suarez answered the deputy’s questions but said several times that he had been drinking all day and could not remember everything. Suarez admitted he had asked the minor to “give him some sugar” and given her a few pecks on the cheek and the mouth, just like he always has.
“He said he wasn’t sure at (her) age if it was okay but that
he loved (the victim who) was growing up so fast and that he didn’t want to be past the point of being able to have (her) sit on his lap. He wanted to get all of that he could,” said the deputy in the arrest report.
Suarez told the deputy that
he had advised the victim’s mom that she needed to boost the child’s self esteem because she was developing an hourglass figure.
“I told (the mother) before that
she will grow into her ass, like a puppy grows into paws,” Suarez told the deputy.
