When police officers went to investigate a missing person report filed on a Kansas couple they made a horrible discovery inside the home.
The coroner says a Liberal couple died last week after the man suffocated his wife and then cut his legs with an electric saw.
The man bled to death.

Their teenage kids found a note saying they went to Garden City on Jan. 9. Police think the parents were dead in the house when the kids found the note. Of all the ways to go, he picks an electric saw?

i wonder if he had ment to die or just set up an insanity defense, but death was a by- product of the whole cutting leg off thing.

OK! I have a lot of issues with this story either these two were into some really and I mean really Major drugs or some one killed them

If a guy can casterate himself in prison and eat his own penis before killing himself then I can believe this guy could take an electric saw to his own legs.... didn't you see Saw? :)

I wouldnt have picked that type of saw. Atleast a gas powered chop saw or something geez

The kid thing bothers me. So, what, the parents are dead, locked in the bedroom for days and you don't notice anything amiss? When my parents went on vacation, we knew ahead of time what was going down, we always had someone that was going to "check in" on us, etc. And if my parents locked their bedroom door before they left, you can be sure we would have picked the lock just to see why they locked the door to begin with. I dunno. I'm sure there are a lot of factors that could play a part into why the teenage kids didn't notice anything for 4 days.
