The reports were from trained National Weather Service spotters. The last time snow flurries fell on South Florida was in 1977.
A Wind Chill Warning will be in effect from 7 p.m. Sunday until 9 a.m. Monday. A Freeze Watch remains in in effect until 9 a.m. Monday.
Florida Power and Light reported Sunday morning, 790 residences and businesses were without power in Miami-Dade; 200 in Broward.
