    Melissa Hailey has a dead 1-month-old baby son

    Bartlesville police have arrested a woman in connection to the death of her one-month-old baby son.

    Melissa Rose Hailey, 18, faces a complaint of first-degree homicide in the case. Formal charges are pending.

    BPD Chief Tom Holland told BartlesvilleLIVE.com that 911 got the call about 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.

    He said firefighters found the infant dead inside the family home in the 500 block of Highland Avenue.

    Court records indicate that the home belongs to Hailey's mother, Anna Hailey, 47. The records also indicate a history of domestic disputes, including a protective order filed by Anna Hailey against her daughter in July, 2009.

    Melissa Hailey also has a felony case of second-degree burglary on her record; she was due to appear in court on that charge Friday.

    According to video at that link, there were "markings" on the baby's body (head and arms) that raised suspicion. The video also shows authorities removing a dresser from the home

    Not one picture of baby Hayden, but she made time to post her ugly face. I bet she was pissed as hell to have a baby to be responsible for alone. Looks like a lot of her myspace friends are young mama's making it all seem so fantastic. She didn't get the clue that it's not like playing doll I think. Wonder who and where is baby daddy?

    D, mommies do kill babies, if they're bat shit crazy or selfish twats!

    Baby was only one month old...I'm wondering if her mother was pulling the tough love on her, telling her you made it you take care of it. Like my sister when she had baby boy at 19, I was helping her much at the beginning as she never wanted her baby and was in denial up to the last minute in her pregnancy. I get she's the mother and needs to be responsible but at 18 many young ladies aren't looking to be mom's and need help growing into that role. Course, if your capable of being a killing baby bitch, you don't have much luck on that, now do you.

    She'll have the rest of her pathetic life to think on that.
