I think it's a good thing to see, even without knowing Gabe's whereabouts, judge has granted full custody to Logan. I'm sure there are legal reasons why this is can be done. Still, it is the feeling that he is being treated as being alive that I take pleasure from. I see it as a slap on the bitch's face. She is holding the cards and she thrives on that, BUT as she was trying to keep baby Gabe from Logan from the beginning, hearing the order imposed makes me giggle.

Missing Baby Gabriel Still Alive, PI Says
Baby Gabriel Victim Of Illegal Adoption, Ken Gamble Says
PHOENIX -- Missing baby Gabriel Johnson is alive and probably the victim of an illegal adoption, according to a private investigator hired by the boy's father.

Gabriel was last seen with his mother, Elizabeth Johnson, in San Antonio, Texas, on Dec. 26. Johnson now sits in a Maricopa County jail on charges of kidnapping and custodial interference, while Gabriel's father, Logan McQueary, continues to search for the boy.

Private investigator Ken Gamble, who has been aiding McQueary's search for several weeks, said handwritten notes from Johnson's journal indicate that she met a couple at Raymond Rimkus Park in San Antonio.

"I do believe he is alive because I do believe the meeting here occurred," Gamble said. "I believe a third party is involved. This is what the evidence is suggesting."

Gamble said he thinks the third party set up the meeting where Johnson gave Gabriel to the couple.

The man and the woman who took Gabriel were in their 30s or 40s, and the man was tall with short, dark hair, Gamble said. The woman was about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and had long, blond hair.

Gamble said the mystery couple probably knew the adoption was illegal.

"It's very unlikely that the couple don't know what's going on," he said. "They just have very strong beliefs about the child."

It's unlikely that Gabriel is still in San Antonio, Gamble said. The couple probably drove to Texas to pick up the baby.

Johnson has cooperated with authorities, Gamble said.

"She's made full admissions to police," he said. "At this stage, some of that information we can't discuss because it's still under investigation."

He believes finding the third party is the key to finding Gabriel, and he said that anyone with information as to the identity of this person or the couple should call the missing persons hotline at 800-THE-LOST.

"Someone out there knows," Gamble said. "Someone has enabled these people. Someone must realize that these people have taken in a baby recently."

This is QUITE an update. I really, really hope he is still alive. I've been on the fence so long with this one. One person posts that he/she believes Gabe is still alive and immediately it is what I think. I red another post where poster thinks Gabe is dead and immediately I think the same thing. One thing I do know for sure is that I have learned from this case that what I think and what I feel are often at odds with each other. Mind you, I was aware of this before this case but it has been very apparent lately.

PHOENIX -- Missing posters for Tempe baby Gabriel Johnson hit the big screen Tuesday when several digital billboards in San Antonio began carrying a message with the missing boy's likeness.

Gabriel was last seen with his mother, Elizabeth Johnson, in San Antonio on Dec. 26. Johnson now sits in a Maricopa County jail on charges of kidnapping and custodial interference relating to her son's disappearance. Gabriel's father, Logan McQueary, has been spearheading the search for his missing son.

The three billboards, which are owned by Lamar Outdoor Advertising, feature a photo of Gabriel, the reward amount and the phone number for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

New Leads Emerge In Baby Gabriel Case
Elizabeth Johnson Kept Journal While On Run

TEMPE, Ariz. -- When Elizabeth Johnson refused to tell a judge what she did with her missing baby Gabriel Johnson at a custody hearing last week, the boy’s father was sitting just feet away, seeing his ex-girlfriend for the first time in months
Every one of her denials was maddening to Logan McQueary, and Johnson refused to look him in the eye.

“I wanted Elizabeth to tell the truth when my lawyer questioned her and when the judge questioned her again. It looked like she really wanted to talk and I was just wishing that she would,” said McQueary.

But what he couldn’t get from her testimony, his private investigator has now found in the journal Johnson kept while on the run. She left written directions to Raymond Rimkus park on the morning of Dec. 27.
McQueary said they have evidence a third party arranged for Elizabeth to meet someone at a park bench at 10 a.m. that morning, and hand the boy off to a couple she’d never met.

“I know he’s out there and he’s alive and he got handed off to a couple and we pretty much believe we know who they are,” said McQueary.

The FBI has even come forward, telling McQueary they want to do more to help in the search. But unless the San Antonio Police Department changes the case from a homicide to missing persons, the FBI can’t even open a case file.

“We’re really close. Closer than we’ve ever been,” said McQueary.
If the San Antonio Police Department changes the classification of the case, McQueary wouldn't have to count on the whim of the woman behind bars. With more resources, McQueary truly believes they will soon find Gabriel on their own.

“It doesn’t matter to me how much time she gets or how little time she gets. She can go along with her life and I can go along with mine. As long as I have Gabriel. That’s all I want,” said McQueary.

Sweet Baby Jesus, talk about some uplifting updates. Would it not be absolutely splendid if Baby Gabe was found on Easter Sunday? It would be so fitting.

I need to see a news video of Gabe's daddy so I can check out his eyes. I wonder how he has managed to make it through all of this. The unpleasant thoughts that have surely worked their way through his head. Poor guy. Imagine having to look at her in court and not being able to assault her.

Johnson complained that the vegetables were rotten and had worms in it, according to a document she submitted to deputies titled “My Advanced Directive’s Will.".

The loaves consist of dry milk powder, fruits and vegetables, chili powder, and bread dough compacted into a solid brick-like form; they are served to inmates twice a day.

Sheriff's officials say Johnson gave them a will she wrote after being put on the program, claiming that she is starving and refuses to eat the loaves because they're "full of rotten vegetables and worms."

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Brian Lee said her diet program was changed from the standard sack lunch in the morning and hot meal in the evening after she became "a management issue."

According to Lee, in one case Johnson threw Windex into a fellow inmate's eye. It is unclear what happened in the second alleged assault.
