Florida Police Seek Clues Into Discovery Of Woman's Body

Fort Lauderdale police are trying to unravel the mystery behind the discovery of a woman's body behind a Fort Lauderdale warehouse Thursday morning.

The woman's body was discovered just east of I-95 and north of Broward Boulevard at 201 NW 18th Avenue around 7:00 a.m., according to Fort Lauderdale police spokesman Sgt. Frank Sousa.

The cause of death and person's identity is unknown.

Police do say the victim is an African-American woman, between 40-50 years old, wearing denim jeans with red stitching and a beige tank top.
