this confirms cctv caught her by the jukebox at 3:20am

Larry Ross said his stepdaughter was last seen with Mayor at Butcher Boys Bar and Grill in Holbrook, Long Island where CCTV captured her around 3:20 a.m. standing next to a jukebox.

Mayor told police that he dropped Rebecca off at home early Saturday morning, but her family insists she never made it home.

She received the 17 minute phone call from Boston at right around that exact time. I wonder if the boyfriend got pissed off about the phone call. Especially if it was a guy calling her at 3:30 in the morning.

What if they had a fight? What if he discovered she was cheating on him? She is drunk. They fight. He kills her. Panics and dumps her in CT trying to steer the police toward a stranger? The texts were sent from a "go phone" Not the easiest to trace.

She disappeared on Thursday night (Friday morning).
Body found burning Friday night.
The first text on her myspace that she was missing was 11:29 Saturday morning.
First text from her phone was 11:40 pm on Sunday.
Another text at unidentified time on Monday.
Body identified on Wednesday.

But Backlash....the incoming 17 minute call from Boston came on her cell phone right around the time the camera captured her waiting near the jukebox.

Does anyone think that this phone call could have caused an argument between her and Dan? Especially if it was a guy calling her at 3:30 am.

Also, I am wondering if the cell call from Boston came from just a Boston number as opposed to the call actually coming from Boston.

Hope I'm being clear.

You're definitely being clear. I think that's a very real possibility. Especially if these people were out drinking all night. You never know what oculd have happened...

Actually that was just a guess from the original article.

Her last known whereabouts were inside Butcher Boys Bar and Grill in Holbrook, where she was captured on a security video standing by a jukebox at 3:20 a.m. last Friday along with her boyfriend.

Larry Ross said he watched the video and said she looked as if she wanted to get out of the bar.

"Becky kept telling them, 'I want to go home,' " Ross said. "On the video, you can see her waiting by the jukebox, waiting to go home."

If he was the one who was taking her home, why wait? She wants to go home, take her home.
I'd be a bit pissed, wouldn't you?

My first thoughts were that she was someone local or from the casino. I figured it would be the casino and camera's would have caught the killer quickly.

I guess it's stickier than I thought.

Her friends claim she was then dropped off at her home in Medford at about 3:30 a.m. Investigators note they believe she was murdered in NY and then transported about 100 miles to where she was found in Connecticut.

She was out that night with her boyfriend, Dan Mayor. He has stated that he dropped her off at home that night; however, her mother and step-father say she did not return home at all during those early morning hours.

now how would the friends know if they weren't there? this is odd.

WHO is saying this girl arrived home safely? I was under the impression the bf took her home and said he walked her to her door. Then her folks say she never arrived (all that could really mean is her bed was still made. I don't know their sleeping habits but 4a is damn early)

Who other than people who knew her would know where she kept that phone or even care?
If it was random or even 'pseudo-guy I know' I'm pretty sure after MURDERING someone, that would be the last thing on my mind.

It is my feeling that the bartender is covering her and the establishments ass with this statement. If she was wasted when she came in to Butcher Boy and they served her anyway they can be held liable . This is the last place this woman was seen alive....they are distancing themselves with the whole "she came from another bar" statement.

I guess I didn't pick up on the conflict in statements about her going home. Dan says he took her home and walked her to the door. Her family says that she was never home. Sounds like a big disparity there. Depending on why the family says she never made it home (no alarm disabled in log, dad waited up for her) it could mean curtains for Dan...
