I really hope they catch these motherfuckers. Don't we have a member that lives in Palm Bay?Police in Palm Bay are looking for at least three armed men who they say broke into a home Saturday night and terrorized six children who were home alone.
At about 11 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a home invasion on San Filippo Drive. The victims said three to four black men kicked in the door and threatened them. The youngsters -- ranging in age from 10 months to 15 years -- were left home alone while the mother went to the hospital with another child who needed stitches.
The suspects threatened the children, choked them, held them at gunpoint and threatened them with a pot of hot oil as they demanded money they said an uncle owed them, Palm Bay police said. When the mother returned home in the midst of the home invasion, the suspects grabbed the pot of oil and splashed it at her and her 15-year-old daughter, police said. Both were hospitalized with serious burns.
The victim's car was stolen and recovered a short time later in the area of Palo Alto and Palomar. A second vehicle, a silver Hyundai, was found burned on Cogan Drive and is thought to have been stolen and used by the suspects.
According to the victims, the suspects were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, and their faces were covered with dark turtlenecks. All were armed with handguns.
