Joseph Hubbard was employed as deputy chief of the Newport Township Fire Protection District until early October. He resigned after police found child pornography on his home computer.
According to Assistant State's Attorney Mary Stanton, a family member reported finding pornographic images from Hubbard's AOL account on his home computer. Authorities discovered that he had been e-mailed various pornographic images. Many images dated back to earlier this year, but one was almost five years old. The children in the pictures were between 8 and 12 years old.
