As Jones was being interviewed by a 33-year-old male paramedic, she punched him in the face for no apparent reason, police alleged. They said she was then restrained and taken to South Shore Hospital, where she continued her combative behavior, and even spat in the face of a 38-year-old male nurse.

This was all after she asked for medical assistance.

Yes, she is probably mentally ill.

That, or on drugs of some kind and is seeing things/hearing voices.

One time I was driving down main street and I saw a guy on the side of the road screaming things about Jesus. I watched two guys walk up to him (while being very friendly, mind you... with smiles on their faces) and he dropped his "Jesus Loves You" sign and tackled one of the dudes to the ground. I was at a stoplight thinking, "WTF???"

Never heard what happened to any of the men after that.

I hope I get to hear what turned this chick into a combative mess... I'm curious.

Maybe I am a optimist but maybe she was so Ill she had no clue wtf was going on,When I was younger I used too have seizures and mom would tell me after what a jerk i was hitting and scratching...I really did not remember a thing...

i'm guessing PCP or possibly a medical idiosyncracy. personally, if i consume guaifenesin (common decongestant) i straight up rage beyond anything reasonable, and it's something that doesn't happen to anyone else i ever met. i could foresee such a situation, but this is why i do lots of label reading and further research before i take ANYTHING. hopefully this woman and the people who she attacked are alright!
