Kecia Hahn and her family business.

Kecia Hahn is accused of using her three children to help her burglarize a neighbor’s home and admitted to lifting her 8-year-old son into a window and telling him to unlock the door. Hahn and her children ages, 8, 10 and 14, carried more than a $1,000 worth of stolen items from the neighbor’s house.

The cops began their investigation after receiving a call from the neighbor who said his home had been broken into and furniture and knickknacks were missing. A person familiar with the house looked across the alley and saw a suitcase from the house which was sitting in Hahn’s driveway.

The cops went to Hahn’s house and asked if they could look around in her garage and when she refused the officers obtained a search warrant for the premises. Hahn has been charged with one count of burglary and grand larceny and remains in jail because her children aren’t able to steal the $50,000 cash only bond from the neighbors that she needs because the three children are in the custody of the Division of Health and Human Resources.

You had entered a newspaper article into your "Screamin Demon" website. This particular article was about a woman named Kecia Hahn. The article was incorrect and slanderous when originally printed by the Inter-mountain. This woman has never been convicted of a crime yet small town people with small town mindsets are very judgmental. The article implies that she put her children in danger by sneaking into a house in the dark while people are sleeping upstairs. The house was abandoned and no one had lived in it for over a year. She did not put her 8 yr old in the window as the article implied. In fact, she was protecting the young man, a friend of her son's, who actually did break in and unlock the door. Because of the media attention this had attracted she has not been capable of retaining a job. One would think that her having a job should put people's minds to ease.

She suffers from Bi-Polar and Severe Depression for which she was unable to get any assistance for the past year. Not that this excuse's her behavior but it does lead to flawed thinking pattern. Since this all happened she has been able to get the medication she needed and she attends church regularly. Although she faces a mountain of adversity in a small town she is trying her best to turn her life around and be a better person all around.

The reason I am writing this is because she told me about this article on the web site. She was both ashamed and humiliated. This is not the person I know. After the separation from her husband almost 4 years ago, her faith, self-esteem, and mood went downhill. The woman I see today is not the same as 5 months ago.
This is a copy of an e-mail I have received from someone claiming to be a friend of Kecia. Ok, Demonites, you decide, innocent or guilty?

all three articles seem identical and all three seem to be posted by related news stations... if this is the only article available about her, i'm inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt, until more proof surfaces.

A judge has sentenced a Randolph County woman, who used her four children to steal things from her neighbor's home.

Randolph County Circuit Judge John Henning sentenced Kecia Hahn to one year in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

Henning then suspended that sentence and ordered her to spend three months on home confinement and two years on supervised probation.

I was reading through the comments left for that story and I've noticed a common theme. Most of the people who commented don't seem to care that she broke the law they're only concerned with her being given some lee-way because times're tough. Fuckbeall Times're tough all over..but I don't see other good people breaking into homes, using their children (as someone else put it) as keys to gain entry...and stealing from others.. How low can you go?
I'm betting some of them are 'related' to her somehow...

Well it was probly for the best, she did this anyways, cause now she got the help she definitely needed, cant say the Bi-Polar excuse was worth a shit, wrong is wrong no matter how you cut it. And some if not all of her children were involved, so that still makes her a shitty mother at the time.

Not to mention her oldest son is 14 and his friend the same age, so that would just be another charge of delinquency to a minor, not one to let her off the hook. She still swayed a minor to commit burglary.
