Chloe Edwards says, "Put my Daddy's keys down"

Chloe Edwards heard noises at 2am and ventured downstairs to see who was in the kitchen of her Middlesbrough home.
It was then that she came across Dean Affleck, 18, who pointed a meat cleaver at her and told her to go back to bed.
Chloe's parents, Mark and Rachel, had already begun making their way downstairs after they'd heard the burglar accidentally smash a glass.

It was then that they heard Chloe tell Affleck: 'Put my Daddy's car keys down.'
The incident happened on the day Rachel was due to start a five-day stint of chemotherapy for breast cancer.
Once Chloe was safely back in her bedroom, with her four-year-old brother Sonnymac brother and ten-year-old sister, Rebecca, the father went back to the kitchen.
Mr Edwards, 33, said: 'I shouted to him to get out of my house, and he replied that he was "Just getting some ice cubes." So I told him I'd get him some ice cubes!
'I chased him out of the back door and bolted it shut. I thought he'd gone, but then I heard him trying to get in the front door.

'I couldn't believe that he was trying it again. He seemed drunk.
'My first thought was for my family, but it looked like Chloe already had that covered.
'We're very proud of her, she's definitely a feisty one.'

Did they really name their son Sonnymac?

I truly hope they do not give her too many positive strokes for being their "little hero" I can only imagine it could encourage her to take unnecessary risks in the future. Child got lucky this time.
We have enough youth. How about a fountain of smart?
