Yeah, sometimes I wish I could unread most of what I read here. People are capable of untold levels of horror and inhumanity, and I find myself wishing I knew much less about it than I do. I'd much rather go to sleep at night believing that all mommies love their babies the way I love mine.

I got to the part about this baby's mother using a dildo on him to prepare him for being raped by his father, literally said, "SHUT THE FUCK UP" out loud, and promptly stopped reading. I'm sorry, baby Donald Jr, but I cannot read what those fucking sacks of shit did to you. I am beyond appalled, seriously. I thought I was a pretty cynical person and had heard it all, but OMFG. On June 25, 1998, Jarrell called EMS and reported that her ten- month-old baby, Donald Jarrell Jr., was not breathing. When paramedics arrived, they found the baby was dead and rigor mortis had begun to set in. When the police arrived at the residence they observed that the trailer was filthy with animal feces, fly strips, baby bottles with clabbered milk, unwashed dishes, dirty diapers, and it smelled of urine. Residing at the trailer with Jarrell at the time of the baby's death were Donald Jarrell Sr. (Father), Jarrell's mother Grenetta Blaskey, and Jarrell's three other minor children. The Department of Social Services took temporary emergency custody of the three children due to the condition of the residence.

While in jail, Jarrell discussed the abuse and death of her baby with several inmates: Mary Gillespy, Julie Williams, Angela Doctor, and Tracye Graves. In her conversations with these inmates, Jarrell admitted she used a dildo on the baby to prepare him for sex with Father. She also stated that she and Father planned to kill the baby by smothering him to make it appear to be a SIDS death....

Mary Gillespy was an inmate incarcerated with Jarrell prior to trial. Jarrell discussed the circumstances of her case with Gillespy. Gillespy testified that Jarrell told her she was aware months before her son's death that her husband was sexually abusing their son. She further stated to Gillespy that she participated in the abuse and would often use a dildo on the baby while she and her husband were having sex.

Inbred stupid, evil fucks. I mean how does one come to the place that while you are having sex that you get the idea to use a dildo on your baby at the same time???? how???? This Mary woman, should have strangled the bitch as she told here this atrocious story... I would have killed her being in jail in all, wtf, one less baby killer.

She also stated that she and Father planned to kill the baby by smothering him to make it appear to be a SIDS death....

Yeah, like the medical examiner wouldn't notice the damage done to baby Donny.....really, like I said, inbred, stupid, evil fucks. Stupid, ignorant people driven by perversion subjects children to this kind of shit. The rest of the baby killers/rapers are just plain evil.

What I wonder is how is it that baby Donny lived so long? he was subject to so much abuse and surely injured repeatedly.....how he didn't die from his injuries alone is really miraculous. He wasn't really living though. I imagine him crying often from his physical and emotional anguish....uugh, I seriously want these people to suffer and die!

Yes, I do believe that their stupidity actually was the ONLY reason they got caught. Had they continued the abuse or hidden the body, I feel that Baby Donny would never be found or even known about. :( Luckily for Baby Donny's memory and the sake of the other children, these morons led police immediately to the crime and even left enough evidence of the crime.

As far as living as long as he did, I'm always amazed at the capacity for survival. Baby Donny had probably known pain and torment all his life. I'd say that the very fact that he had to accustom to such torture contributed to his survival. Also, I've been finding SO many unheard stories of children who were horrifically tortured and lived. I think that the percentage of deaths by abuse is actually quite low.

The very fact that Baby Donny HAD survived so long is another testament to the crime. The baby had endured torture and still had the will and ability to live, but these fucks took even the barest chance with his murder.

If you came here to vent, you're definitely in the right place. Many of us have survived abuse of the most horrific sort and/or are friends or relatives of people who are also survivors. Many of us are abuse prevention advocates or volunteer to provide support to survivors. Your brother's story won't be forgotten.
