Zachary Snyder Made A List, Checked It Twice, Stabbed And Set Fire To ‘Grandma’

Dunnellon, FL – She took him in four years ago so he wouldn’t have to face the hell that is the foster care system. She loved him, cared for him, put a roof over his head, and fed him. Now, 66-year-old Doris Babcock is dead – the young boy she took under her wing, 19-year-old Zachary Snyder, stands accused of murdering her. Damn. I think a nice ‘Thank You’ card would have been sufficient. Doris’s husband, a long-distance truck driver, called police on Saturday and requested a well-being check on his wife when he was unable to get in contact with her. When authorities arrived at the home, they came in contact with Zachary – who, the husband told them, was not supposed to be there. The couple had asked him to leave the home a few weeks earlier after they discovered he had been stealing from them. Zachary, who appeared to have cuts on his hands and Doris’s debit and credit cards in his pockets, told officers that Doris wasn’t home. At that point, Zachary was arrested and charged with theft and probation violation. They later discovered the gruesome truth about Doris’s whereabouts.

Had to take grandma to the hospital :( .. Didn't get to sleep til bout 5am. Wanting to make my baby happy but I cant even see her its like I keep missing out Mood: Head lifted high ,That was posted on the 15 of nov. What an fucking piece of shit this lil bastard was.

That poor poor woman, that just KILLS me. I think about my Grandma, rest her soul, and I can not even begin to imagine anyone hurting her - I would of seriusly hurt some who hurt my Grandma. I think most Grandma's are real special people - they can be our "other" Mother - I know myne was, thinking about her now I just wanna cry :( At least my Grandma lived to be almost 90 and passed away naturally - this POS took his Grandma's life - too soon and oh soooo horribly - hope he burns in hell

Murder suspect has history of psychiatric issues.Zachary Snyder was in and out of mental health facilities and foster care shelters throughout much of his young life. Then he met Doris Babcock.

He was a patient and she was a volunteer or employee - it wasn't clear which on Tuesday - at Ten Broeck Hospital, now called The Vines. The Ocala facility helps people with psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues.

Man gets life for killing woman

, Fla. -- A north Florida man has been sentenced life in prison for killing a woman who had given him a place to live.

A Marion County judge sentenced 22-year-old Zachary Lee Snyder on Tuesday. He pleaded guilty to murder as part of a deal to avoid the death penalty.
