Two Framingham trick-or-treaters told police they were robbed at knifepoint by two Halloween-masked bandits on Saturday.
The two 13-year-old boys were not injured, but their pillowcases full of candy were stolen at 8:57 p.m., police spokesman Lt. Paul Shastany said.
The two boys said they were walking on Elliot Street when the two suspects walked up to them.
"One of them was holding something in his right hand and demanded, 'Give me your candy,"' Shastany said.
The boys said one of the suspects, who was wearing a devil's mask with golden horns and dressed in black, appeared to be holding a knife.
The other suspect, who did not speak, wore a bug mask, Shastany said.
The two suspects took the pillowcases the boys spent the night filling up with treats and ran off.
"The victims said one of the suspects sounded like someone they knew," Shastany said.
Police believe the two robbers are juveniles, and they have at least one potential suspect, the lieutenant said.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Framingham Police at 508-872-1212.
