Cat survives hanging; Syracuse man arrested

Syracuse police say a Graves Street man hanged a kitten and made a video of the animal struggling.

Rascell Williams, 22, of 303 Graves St., was alone with the cat on Halloween, according to his live-in girlfriend, Joanne Cichy. When she got home she couldn't find the cat.

The next day she found a video on her digital camera showing the four-month-old kitten hanging from the apartment door with a belt around its neck. The video, police said, shows the kitten struggling before going motionless.

The video also shows "Williams coming in an out of the video (next to the cat), as he attempts to better focus the camera.

Williams was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of unjustifiable animal cruelty.

The kitten was found, alive, under the porch. Police said the cat had "injuries consistent with what was seen in the video"

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the link to this dumb shit's myspace, DogMom. I don't think I have ever seen a guy have over 50 photos of just themselves, mugging for the camera. He's rubbed himself in oil in a few and one is even labeled "Model Type." bwahahahahahhahahahaha!!!!

I just can not understand it - can not even begin to wrap my head around such cruelty - I just finished reading the other thread about tiger lilly and all this kills me - I think about my 2 kitties who snuggle up w/ me every chance they get. How I look forward to seeing them when I get home from work, how I can't wait to pet them, hear their little meows as they greet me (I know they are probably just begging for food as always lol), and when I am upset those 2 are always right there and I find them both so soothing to me and beautiful. And then you have SCUMBAGS like this out there - I can't even understand - don't want to understand - one thing it seems that the girlfriend "ratted" him out -gave up the tape she found - GOOD! SOOOO many times we see about people knowing what someone has done and they idly sit by and do nothing about it.
