German Mother Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison for Killing 8 of Her Babies

FRANKFURT AN DER ODER, Germany — A court has ruled that a German woman convicted of killing eight of her infants must serve the maximum 15 years in prison.

Sabine HILSCHENZ got her first baby with 18, with 21 she was a mother of three. According to witnesses, she was a loving mother for her three surviving children.

Her husband refused to have more children. When she delivered her fourth baby in the toilet of their appartment, it probably drowned. Her husband allegedly did not notice anything, nor did he notice eight more pregnancies and secret births. That´s what he says.

Sabine HILSCHENZ buried the little corpses in plant pots on her balcony and grew strawberries and flowers in it. When she moved to her parent´s house in Brieskow-Finkenheerd, she took the little angels with her, where they have been discovered by a neighbour July 2005 - 17 years after the first murder...

Incidentally, the Germans are known for pretty lax sentencing, by American standards. I mean, we all remember the difficulty they encountered even charging their cannibal a few years back. I'm not at all surprised by the sentence.

How horrible there are people that can not have children that would have cherished those babies. What a demented evil bitch, how could she do this over and over? She's pregnant why does she insist on continuing to have children?

I'm really disturbed by the fact she put her babies in a pot and grew strawberries over them, did she eat the strawberries? She had to water them and care for them, it's so fucked up. She is insane which is why they probably only gave her 15 years, which I feel is ridiculous, bury her ass alive and grow a tree with a plaque that states stupid ass baby killing whore buried alive here!

I feel bad for her 3 remaining children, it would cause me years and years of therapy after learning my mom killed 8 of my siblings and for whatever reason didn't kill me!
