Scott Elder shot the guy that misdialed his number.

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- A misdialed number led two strangers to trade hostile calls and text messages before arranging a meeting where one shot the other, Savannah police said.
Savannah-Chatham police spokeswoman Veda Lamar Nichols told the Savannah Morning News that Scott Allen Elder, 22, faces an aggravated assault charge.
Elder was jailed after Brian Matison, 24, was shot in a CVS parking lot around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Nichols said Matison was taken to Memorial University Medical Center in serious condition. She said the two didn't know each other but began arguing through phone calls and text messages after a misdialed number and arranged to meet in the store's parking lot.
Elder was taken to the Chatham County jail. Nichols said his vehicle was damaged during the incident.

it's a tough call, as he's already got 2 different mugshots displayed so white trash proudly, but then again, there's pics of him lookin gangsta, or him doing the one legged white man dance, or him riding a tricycle.

And I agree pene, WHO THE HELL DOES THIS? Both of em were stupid for wanting to fight over something so trivial. Sure, Ive gotten wrong numbers, I've even gotten wrong numbers in the middle of the night. So long as the person doesn't repeatedly blow up my phone, its just a simple matter of "you have the wrong number", only rarely, if they insist the person they want to speak to is there, do I even get rude. I've even had the occasional woman misdial her man's number and great me w "Who the fuck is this" Uh who the fuck are you? You called me, remember?" But NEVER have I decided to argue, especially not to the point that I would take my ass to fight in a drugstore parking lot, especially at 230 AM.

According to police, two men got into an argument after a misdialed phone call and then it escalated into a shooting. The victim, 24-year-old Brian Mastason, was shot multiple times and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

"We heard three gunshots then he came back around and stopped in front of neighbor house and he put it in reverse and saw us all outside," said Travis Young, a neighbor. "We all went inside and he went to his house and we called police. "

"It was just a mistaken phone call," said SCMPD public information officer Veda Nichols. "The two men did not know each other prior to that, and they just allowed a text message conversation to accelerate to physical violence. It was just a senseless act."
