Angry Dad rapes girl in hospital bed next to sick son

    AUSTRALIA

A MAJOR children's hospital has been forced to introduce new security measures after a man visiting his ill son raped a teenage patient in the next bed.

Raouf Philopos sexually assaulted the girl for more than an hour as his six-year-old son slept and while nurses tended to patients in the ward at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

    Rest of story here.

I was in the hospital for skin grafts, and I was in a room that had no lock at the end of a long hallway next to a staircase. I felt very unsafe, and I asked to be moved to a room closer to the nurses station. They acted like I was crazy, but I wanted to feel safe. After all, I was so drugged out, a lot of bad things could have happened to me, and who would have believed me? I bet this happens more often than we would like to think.

I think you're right rubylou...that's why, apart from the time my son was in the NICU and I couldn't be with him overnight, whenever one of our five children have been in hospital, either my partner or I have stayed with them the whole time.

I'm with you, Goldenchild, anytime one of my children has been in the hospital, I have only left the room if another friend or family member was there to take my place. Day or night. When my hubby was in Iraq and my son was hospitalized at two months old, I arranged for my other five children to stay with friends and relatives while I stayed at the hospital with him. I had my mom come to the hospital three times during that week, in the afternoon, so I could make the hour long trip to my house and spend an hour or so with my other kids after school was out. And my mom also made the trip to my house twice herself, in order to get the kids from my friends, to bring them to see their brother. Never once was he left alone in the room.

And I would have killed that asshole, if it had been my child he raped. What a nasty, sick fuck!

And when MY child is lying ailing in a hospital bed, the first thing on MY mind is "Where can I get me some?" Isn't that normal? Bah!

She was in hospital suffering depression and severe social phobia.
Christ. This is probably the worst thing that could have happened to her, given the circumstances. No wonder she turned to "self-harm" after being released. @_@

Meanwhile, the wife is pissed and filing for divorce because the piece of shit never lasted more than 5 minutes with her.
