A man allegedly strangled his girlfriend to death during an argument in a car early this morning then drove the vehicle to the Monrovia police department where he surrendered, authorities said.
The woman, identified as Teresa Cardoza, 28, was found dead inside the car about 1:30 a.m., according to Deputy Bill Brauberger of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Brauberger said police believe the couple were involved in a domestic dispute in the vehicle when the man allegedly attacked Cardoza.
He has been arrested on suspicion of murder, police said. His name was not immediately released.
