EDIT: I'll be back to edit this (to add more) in a half hour or so. Something came up.
Since the Wikipedia one is meh, I have constructed a comprehensive list of all of the major (and some minor) newspapers in the country of Canada, specifically from major cities and their surrounding areas (suburbs etc). You can use these newspapers to search for reports, articles, timelines and everything else related to crime in Canada that you may want to share in this forum. Since a lot of the members here are American, it will be easier to just check these sites listed for information instead of hoping for something Canadian-related to appear in American newspapers/sites. I am working on an American list...it will just take a little longer since the US has ten times the population of Canada, and the cities are larger as well.
Legend:
AB = Alberta
BC = British Columbia
MB = Manitoba
NB = New Brunswick
NL = Newfoundland and Labrador
NS = Nova Scotia
ON = Ontario
QC = Québec
SK = Saskatchewan
The rest of the provinces do not have a significant population warranting coverage. Since the political element is irrelevant I have listed them in cities, not provinces, but the provinces are noted:

Since Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg are Canada's largest cities, you will have a better chance of finding crime-related articles in their respective newpapers. Mostly all of the cities listed have 75 000+ residents.
