Heather Ayers is an idiot and a terrible mom!

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -- A helicopter helped chase down a Brevard County mother who abandoned her daughter after crashing her car so she wouldn't get caught driving drunk. The little girl was injured in the crash along with four other people.

The woman crashed into another car on I-95 near Wickham Road on Tuesday night. During a court appearance Wednesday, the judge set the bail bond at $190,000 for 29-year-old Heather Ayers. Even the judge seemed a little taken aback not just at what she did, but why she told troopers she ran.

Ayers just moved to Florida to start a new life. That new life is now starting behind bars.

The 29-year-old woman is not only accused of drinking and driving, but causing a bad wreck that sent five people to two hospitals, including her 6-year-old daughter, a daughter she abandoned in her car after the wreck.

"She stated that she had been driving around drinking since five o'clock with her daughter and ran from the scene because that's what they do on 'Cops,'" the judge read in court Wednesday.

I am definitely responsible for Heather. I am a old boy friend and have been in and out of her life for the last 18 years. I am pained to hear your responses to a person going though a rough time. With out coming out and saying you all are insensitve and ignorant to any thing that maybe happening in this poor girl's life would not be the Buddhist thing to do. Quite frankly , given my record with these type of messages boards , I find it to be more benificial to try and speak our own languages . So " Let those among you who have not sinned, throw the first stone." If you're christian , you should include her in your prayers. And totally remember that we all make mistakes. Does anyone know if that's a 'suicide suit' or a bullet-proof vest dress? I've been in jail...I never had to wear a quilted dress, I had the pretty orange jumpsuit. But...I've never been in jail for abandoning my child in the car after I drunkenly slammed into someone else.
