Man uses creative way to get women to bare their soles

PUYALLUP, Wash. - A warning is going out to hair and nail salons across Western Washington after one man's unusual request. That man has gone to salons in several cities asking to photograph women's feet.

At one salon in Puyallup, the man said he was a student of Seattle Reflexology and wanted to do a school project, and needed 18 feet for lithographs.

What the salon did not know is that the man is not a student, just a man with an apparent fetish who's been on the lookout for feet in Puyallup, Sumner, Bonney Lake, Federal Way, Olympia, Poulsbo, Port Townsend, and Kirkland.

"He would have people wiggle their toes, and have them show different angles in the light," said Lisa Hensell who runs Seattle Reflexology and Massage Center.

She said she started getting calls about the man last January, and she is now warning salons and licensed massage therapists about him.

Police say it's not a crime.

"Police say he hasn't done anything criminally wrong, but it could lead to something else," said Jayne Drahos, salon owner.

When the man came back to the Puyallup salon a couple of days later to take pictures, the owners had already called police. But because he didn't commit a crime, they couldn't arrest him.

I totally need a pedacure. Not sure how I'd feel about someone shooting pics of my little piggies, though. I don't know that I'd care that much. :p

I once saw a middle aged white man among the Asian nail techs giving pedicures at a salon in Charleston, SC.

Even though he had a license and everything, all I could think was that he must have a foot fetish. I did not want him to give me my pedicure. I figured if he was getting any pleasure out of it, he should pay ME. :p

i would freak out if i saw a white man trying to give a pedicure. how can he say "man-cure ped-cure" to me or tell me "you wait 5 meenets, you peek color"

I was once shopping at my local Goodwill and a creepy looking guy came up to me a gave me a HOMEMADE business card (as in hand lettered) for free foot massages. I STILL can't believe he thought his might work.
