Miguel Nunez abused the toddler guess what Valerie Tamayo did? Nothing!

KINGMAN - Bond has been set at $2,500 for a 26-year-old man accused of abusing a 15-month-old baby.

Miguel Angel Nunez has also been ordered to be screened for pretrial services through Mohave County. A co-defendant in the case, 19-year-old Valerie Monique Tamayo, was released after she underwent the same screening.

Nunez and Tamayo are charged with child abuse. According to court files, Nunez spanked the baby and left significant bruising on his buttocks.

Nunez also allegedly put the baby in a box and into a closet while the boy was crying because he was teething.

Tamayo, the mother of the baby, allegedly knew about the abuse and didn't do anything about it.

The pair left the baby with Nunez's sister to go to a party. The sister then saw the bruising and reported the abuse to police.

Police also say that during a separate incident, Nunez was at a local store recently and left the baby alone in the car after it got too hot in the vehicle.

The baby, and his sister, whose age is undisclosed, were released to the custody of their grandparents.

you said it...yesterday I watched my cats attack a baby squirrel...holy shit did they get it from the mother...she was screeching and running around and jumping on their backs til I stepped in and chased my cats inside....all ended up well, mama came grabbed the unharmed baby and left.

I agree, thank goodness for her....however her job does not end with just a phone call, the system will no doubt fail the baby and give it back to the assholes. I hope the sister is right on top of them....I would be.

Once again "mommy" did nothing!!! If only I had had a chance to do something to the bastard who took my daughter... I would be sitting behind bars now. It sickens me to think that while this little boy was in the closet wondering "wheres mommy"? This thing was probably curled up with this rat!!

wow yes i remember this when my really good friend and i were talking about this, all of u may talk so much shit about the mother of those kids but did u not even think of that maybe she did step up to him and him threatening her too and that maybe she was sexually abused by this man and was too scared to report it, and if u knew who the sisters michelle, and darlene were yea they were good people too but HELLOOO darlene has took her mans back he was the abuser in this whole situation, yes miguel had spanked the baby boy but darlenes stupid boyfriend is the one who left the bruises on him because that last night after the softball game/ party darlene offered to take baby andrew to spend the night at her house and valerie trusting her allowed her to take him and during that night andrew woke up in the middle of the night crying of a dirty diaper he walked into the room that darlene and anthony(bf) were sleeping in and anthony not knowing it was andrew grabbed andrew by the arm and spanked him as well, and darlene called the cops that next morning reporting it Anthony beats her 3 boys the two older boys arnt his and he still think he has the right so what does that tell u? if hes ok with beating her other two boys that arnt his then he felt it was ok spanking the shit out of baby andrew that aint got no relation to him what so ever. and the reason why they never questioned anthony was because that bitch was hiding him from the cops so they could never find him really anthony and miguel r both guilty. so next time u wanna talk shit on someone really look into the details!!! AND FOR EVERYONE'S INFO SHE HAS HER KIDS FULL TIME AND IS DOING BETTER THAN EVER AS WELL AS HER KIDS! they are healthy and bright. and she is a wonderful mom, how i know this is because im one of her best friends and ive been right by her side thru all of this! just thought i should put that out there, no body is perfect and people make mistakes all the time and some can fix it, well shes one that has fixed it!
