Cheryl Woermann kicked her mom's ass while holding her infant-baby flown to hospital

A 2-month-old infant was flown to Hershey Medical Center Tuesday after a domestic incident involving two women, according to Silver Spring Township police.

Police said Cheryl Woermann, 38, was reportedly holding the infant as she punched and kicked a 67-year-old Mechanicsburg woman. Police were called to an address in the first block of South Locust Lane at 2:42 p.m. and learned that Woermann left in a vehicle with the infant before they arrived, they said.

Woermann, who was later located in Camp Hill and arrested, did not use a proper child restraint system in the vehicle, police said, and the infant was placed in the custody of Cumberland County Child and Youth Services.

While a case worker was transporting the infant, police said, the infant “became unresponsive” and was flown to the hospital by Life Lion. Police said a hospital spokesman reported that the infant’s condition had improved and was in stable condition as of noon Wednesday.

Woermann was charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment. Her bail was set at $250,000, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled before Magisterial District Judge Thomas Placey on Sept. 16.

Cheryl Woermann's mother, Carol Woermann, has temporary custody of the child and had brought the baby to Cheryl's residence for the visit. According to court documents, Cheryl Woermann became enraged when her mother said she should not breastfeed the baby because she was taking medication.

Police said Cheryl Woermann was holding and then dropped the 2-month-old baby as she assaulted her mother. Following the fight, police said, Cheryl Woermann drove off with the baby on her shoulder.

number one dont judge anyone esp. what the newpaper says.. im a friend of cherly, and the newpaper dont say the whole thing, caz they are just try to sell the paper.. the baby is fine.. and this is all i can say...

The baby was dropped during the fight so I'm not at all surprised baby became unresponsive. Fuck, that mother is running on empty. Fighting like a teenager with her mother. WTF, were the hormones making her crazy or the drugs? I wonder what she was on.
