The detective got a lap dance right before arresting Natalie Aittama and her bf

An exotic dancer and her boyfriend were arrested at a Fat City strip club for selling cocaine to a pair of undercover detectives, according to Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office records.

The detectives met Natalie Aittama, 23, inside Mickey Martin's Ship Wheel, 3210 Edenborn Ave., on Friday and asked her about buying "beans," street slang for ecstasy, Aittama's arrest report said. She told the detectives she couldn't get ecstasy but could get cocaine, and they settled on 1 gram of cocaine for $100, the report said.

Aittama called her boyfriend, Rashaan Deggs, 32, to place the order and, while waiting for the delivery, gave one of the detectives a $20 lap dance, the report said. When Deggs arrived, Aittama took the cash from the detectives, handed it to Deggs and returned with a bag of white powder.

The couple, who live in LaPlace, were arrested after the powder tested positive for cocaine, the arrest report said.

Deggs was booked with possession and distribution of coca derivatives. Aittama was booked with distribution of coca derivatives and, for removing her underwear during the lap dance, obscenity, the arrest report said.

Both were released from the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna without paying bond because of crowding at the jail.

When reached at home by telephone on Tuesday, Aittama said, "I deny the charges, and I'm going to go to court."

Deggs called the case a big misunderstanding.

"They have somebody else involved that they didn't pursue," he said. "I'll take care of the rest in court."

Dancers like this give the rest a bad name,Ok if nobody was aware dancing was my line of work for quite some time.No I was never abused sexually or otherwise as a child,no I do not or have in the past have a drug issue.Yes, I was into it for the retarded amount of cash I made.I worked with all types of women and the ones with kids and drug issues I have never mingled or even gotten along with,I always thought how unfair it was for the users too make any money when all I wanted too do was get my bills paid and buy my kids whatever they wanted or needed,maybe save some.Not all dancers are like this trick.

I danced for a little while, a few years ago. I had a 1 year old with severe stomach issues, he needed meds our insurance didn't cover. By the time we realized how deeply in debt his bills had us sunk, it was dancing or hooking. I chose to dance. The money's better. I never did drugs, although they were rampant, and I made it clear that I would stage dance, no private shows or VIP rooms. In the whole place, there were maybe 2 other women that didn't do drugs of any kind.
Like me, they have also moved on.
I hate strippers that give other strippers a bad name.

The place that I used too work at before the old manager moved and became a science teacher in Florida...used too be cool.No dope addicts,no stealing,most of us had kids and went too school,We protected each other.Litterly it was a big sorority house minus the tops.Then...It changed,It was mind bogling too me that when me and few of my friends we talking about something pertain too the essay she had due at Syracuse university,this new chick turns around and asked who was this Hitler gut we were talking about...I was shocked!We laughed her right out the freakin door,She was dead serious too,education too some is a waste of time.I always will want too better myself,I felt bad for a few girls,not too say it was not there fault would keep the tard cycle in full force.I know and have always known you can look like a super model,but sexist part of a woman his her brain.

She is the perfect model of what not to do: as a dancer, mother, or simple human being.

I see nothing wrong with dancing to feed your kids or to pay tuition. But girls like her make a career out of it. That in itself is sad.
