In February 2003, two sisters, ages 7 and 11, told investigators that they were repeatedly molested by Donald Lynch, who was babysitting them.
Lynch forced the girls to sleep in his room, watch pornographic movies and participate in sexual acts; he often took photos and videos of the young girls and threatened them with a gun.
Cops raided Lynch's house, seizing more than 600 video tapes, 300 Polaroids, pornographic magazines, a video camera, a loaded handgun, and magazine clippings of young girls. The photos and videos seized showed numerous girls in sexually explicit positions.
Investigators examined the evidence and discovered that Lynch not only sexually molested the two victims who reported the crimes, but also victimized at least eight other girls -- one only 3 years old.
Lynch also videotaped unsuspecting young girls playing in his neighborhood, at the mall, at local parades, and beauty pageants.
After spending three years on the run, Lynch was apprehended in Mexico in November 2007. Today, the 66-year-old's bond was set for 1.5 million dollars.
