What's done is only done if you've learned from the mistakes and right the wrongs. Doesn't sound to me like there's been any learning here. Just a bunch of "woe is me" and "this only happened because my kid was the turd I've raised him to be and my ex was the thug I had to know he was". Everybody else's fault.
