Wow... that's some serious anger. Hope it was a John Deere at least. Of course that's what people around here drive to prom lol

A rural Galien man was sentenced to tether and probation after trying to run his neighbor down with his tractor in a dispute over property boundaries.

Judson Richard Clark, 74, of Gardner Road, was sentenced by Judge Scott Schofield for attempted assault with a dangerous weapon. The incident was June 5 in Weesaw Township and involved his assault on Randall Chudzicki.

Clark was placed on three years' probation and ordered to have a mental health evaluation. He was placed on 90 days' tether and must pay $1,790.

He cannot have contact with his neighbor or his family and cannot enter his neighbor's property, including on a disputed driveway, and must find another way to access his own property.

Chudzicki called it "very scary" to live next door to Clark. "The day he attacked me with his tractor was very scary," he said. "When I was airborne, I thought I was going to die."

The judge urged both men to settle their dispute in court and not in violence. "I urge you both to make use of the talent we have in the civil division before someone gets hurt or killed," he said.
