Teresa West and her kids run the family business - underage prostitution

Y'know most parents want better for there kids than they had. I mean even if she'd had aspirations for them to pimp out legal adults it would be a step in the right direction.

Metro Detectives accuse a family of three of employing a 16-year-old high school student as part of their prostitution business.

Police charged 45 year old Teresa Ann West (pictured left), also known as Teresa West-Dagley, with trafficking for sexual servitude and promoting prostitution.

She is also charged in federal court, along with her son Casey and daughter Diana, with using a minor for commercial sex.

Detectives began their investigation of the Wests after receiving information this year that they were using teenagers from a Middle Tennessee high school to work as prostitutes.

During surveillance of Teresa West on the evening of August 3rd, police say she was observed checking into the Motel 6 in Murfreesboro.

Officers say she was observed leaving a room key card on a wall in the parking lot and departed the area.

A short time later, police say a 16-year-old female drove to the motel, retrieved the key card and entered Wests motel room.

Metro detectives and FBI agents went to the room and conducted a detailed interview with the teenager, during which she acknowledged that she engaged in sex for money at the direction of Teresa Ann West.

She said that she began working as a prostitute for West this summer and had engaged in approximately 20 to 30 sexual contacts.

She said that a typical client paid $110, $40 of which went to Teresa West.

The teenager said that West knew she was 16, but told her to say that she was 18 if asked.

Police believe 20 year old Casey West (pictured middle) drove the teenager to a client and received a $20 fee from her.

She said she has given money to Casey West on other occasions as well.

Police believe 22 year old Diana West (pictured right) helped the operation of the prostitution business.

Investigators believe there may be more underage victims related to this case.

Parents of teenagers, particularly in the Robertson County area, who are/were friends with Casey, Diana and/or Teresa West, are urged to talk with their children and inquire whether they have any knowledge regarding the prostitution business.

Nashville Woman Sentenced For Trafficking Girls

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A Nashville woman has been sentenced to more than 15 years in prison for sex trafficking four underage girls.

According to a news release from the U.S. District Court, 47-year old Teresa Ann West operated an illegal prostitution business in Nashville and Pigeon Forge for a number of years.

One of the teenagers she employed was a 17-year old homeless girl, whom she promised to help. Instead, West worked her as a prostitute and introduced her to crack cocaine.

West pleaded guilty in May and was sentenced on Wednesday in federal court in Nashville.
