After an month of suffering alleged abuse and forced imprisonment, a Clarksville woman cradling her child in her arms found refuge.
The 19-year-old woman was seen Friday "
grabbing her child while she was running and crying hysterically," according to the Clarksville Police Department report.
The woman indicated she needed assistance and was taken by the officer to downtown police headquarters.
The information obtained by law enforcement resulted in the arrest of
Paul Dean Bromley, 25.

The victim told police Bromley was her boyfriend and she had moved in with him about a month ago.
"Ever since, he has
assaulted her several times, had threatened to kill her if she leaves and had threatened her child," according to the report.
The victim told police the couple "got into an altercation" Thursday night "and
he kicked her in the leg and head, but she didn't have a way to call the police."
Apparently, Friday morning
while Bromley was sleeping the woman escaped with her child.
"She took off running," the report states.
The woman told police
Bromley refused to allow her to leave the apartment and continued his barrage of threats "if she leaves ... ."
The police report indicated the teen mother "had visible signs of injury on both arms."
