Easter Bunny Accused of Injuring 8-Month Old; What Next, Santa a Pedophile?

AUSTIN -- A man dressed as the Easter Bunny has been arrested for possibly injuring a child while taking pictures at Lakeline Mall.

Austin Police say around 1:00 p.m. on Friday, crowds of parents and children waiting in line for pictures with the man in a bunny suit witnessed the event. Police say the man dressed as the bunny, Paul Clough became irritated with his job and put the baby on the ground. Police say sometime during that process, the baby was somehow injured. Police are still investigating if the injury was accidental or intentional.

The baby suffered a bruise to his forehead. Police say the baby's parents took him to the hospital. The baby was treated and released.

I dunno, Im more than willing to give Mr. Bunny the benefit of the doubt, those kind of suits are really unconfortable and hard on mobility and sight its very easy to drop whatever you are carring, especially a twitching baby.

Hes shouldnt have been made to carry the baby in thefirst place, the parents or if avalible some non patially blinded unconfortable gloves wearing asistants should be holding a child that young...

Edit, Felt like adding a thing or two:

At first I tougth the picture was random funny googled image but thats the actual suit, look at that mask and tell me the guy had more than 30% of a normal sigth, Im willing to bet his globes are obersized plush and not thin fabric gloves(who would be bad enuff to determine feeling and grip). That suit was just an accident waiting to happend.

The 911 calls tho not particularly more informative are interesting to listen to.

I find it hard to think that his frustration would get the best of him witougth either

a) Not put the baby back with the parents get his mask off and procede to take an unprogramed break regarless if it could get him fired or even quit on the spot.

B) Follow the baby touchdown celebration by going into a full fledge mental breakdown rampage of I no longer give a fuck, cursing at the parents, boss etc...

Imediatly pretending it wasnt on purpose just seems kind of cool headed enuff to realise doing what he just did is just asking for even more frustration and troubles...

Anytime I had the boys pics taken while they were infants I was asked to kneel to the side of the bunny! So I would have just swooped up my baby he would have had no opportunity of putting my baby down! Seems strange for sure!
