Fiordaliza Ramirez leaves 4 & 5 yr. old girls home alone while she goes to her job

PALM BAY, Fla. -- A mother of two has been charged with child neglect for going to her job at a strip club and leaving her daughters home alone, authorities said.

According to officials, Fiordaliza Collado-Ramirez, 26, was arrested Thursday night at the Bare Assets Gentleman's Club after neighbors called police to report that the children were at home unsupervised.

Police officers responding to the apartment in Palm Bay found two girls, ages 4 and 5.

Authorities said Collado-Ramirez told officers that she normally has a baby sitter on certain days but she had not made arrangements for child care on Thursday.

She remained in jail Friday. It was not immediately known if she had an attorney.

The Department of Children and Family Services took custody of the children.

We're talking about Fiordaliza Collado-Ramirez of Palm Bay who has two girls, 4 and 5.

A concerned neighbor called police after seeing the 5-year old on the balcony. The other child was ill and lying on a couch, police said.


So, where was Mom?

At her job at the Bare Assets Gentleman Club, reports the Orlando Sentinel.

"The mother told the officers she decided to leave the children alone because she was late for work,'' police said in a news release.

She's shedding more than her clothes. Shedding her responsibility, too.
