A man arriving for his brother's funeral in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, was struck and killed by a car in the funeral home parking lot on Friday. Apparently, a funeral home employee put a car into reverse just as 59-year-old Leslie Mathews was passing behind it.
The force of the impact pinned Mathews between two cars. He died on the way to the hospital, with cause of death determined to be crushing injuries to the pelvis.
Police are investigating, but at this point, it doesn't look like any charges will be filed against the funeral home employee.
The funeral for John Mathews went on without his brother's family.

I wonder if the victim's family will hold his service at this particular funeral home.
