FORT STEVENS STATE PARK, Ore. - Clatsop County officials are investigating an apparent murder-suicide involving a Portland man and his 10-year-old son.

Officials with the Clatsop County District Attorney's Office said their bodies were found inside the father's van at Fort Stevens State Park near Astoria Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators say the father, 49-year-old Rockland Stephens, ran a hose from the tail pipe into the cab of the vehicle. They said the man and boy both likely died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

There might be some crazy mothers who think their child will go to heaven with them. These fathers though, they kill their children to hurt the mothers, they exact the ultimate revenge.

The mother, Shannon Davis, had full custody of Shane, and a restraining order on an abusive and violent man. Stephens had a history of runs-ins with the law. He had hit her and threatened to kill her with a rifle. He had once taken another child, now grown, to Fiji to keep the mother from gaining custody. 5 days after Davis gained custody of her son, the honorable Judge Steven B. Reed decided to give this violent man weekend visitation.

WTF were you thinking Judge Steven B. Reed??? The most that rat bastard should have gotten was supervised visitation, and not even that in my opinion.
