Amy Pike says she was abused, not true, she abused her 4-year-old girl.

Mother accused of beating 4-year-old daughter appears in court
She's accused of beating her four-year-old child, but now she's saying she was the one abused.

Amy Pike is charged with two counts of assault for allegedly beating her child in her home on Texas Street last summer. As a result, Pike's daughter has a hole in her skull, broken ribs and had to be hospitalized

Today in court, Pike's attorney says he plans to prove that pike herself was abused by her boyfriend and he's the one who abused the child.

The trial was supposed to begin this week, but the defense is now bringing in an expert who will prove Pike is a victim of domestic abuse. Now the prosecutor needs time to call in her own expert to evaluate pike.

The defense is also saying Pike gave a false confession after 15 hours of being interrogated by investigators and police. Pike’s attorney Mark Young said, “There's numerous articles, research about false confessions and people give false confessions. It's not unheard of.”

The trial will now begin October 13.

I was best friends with her in elementary school. We stopped being friends after about 2 years. She was very slow and showed violent tendencies even back then. Very emotionally unbalanced. Her father was also extremely violent. She has 2 sisters and he used to beat them all. I hadn't talked to her in years when I read in the paper about what she did to her daughter. Its disgusting. I believed it was her from the minute I read it. It was extremely like her to do that. She has a picture on facebook of her with her daughter. Her daughters hair was shorter than a boys. They must have had to shave her entire head at the hospital. It makes me literally sick that she has custody or visitation. That child should be taken away. I have a 7 year old daughter and I won't even SPANK her! How can you hurt any child, let alone the one you created? Im done lol, just had to get that off my chest

Let me start by saying that I could give a fuck how abused she was! I do see trouble with this interrogation!
