Noemi Huizar - Shot in the head sitting on her couch

This quite pretty 18 yr old woman was found sitting on her couch, with a gunshot wound to the head, by her father and brother in the living room of her Fort Worth, Texas home. She was already deceased when they found her. The police are not sure whether it is suicide or homicide at this point. There appears to be a possibility that the back door was forced open.

Though Huizar didn't know her baby's sex, family members say she was crossing her fingers that it would be a boy.

"I saw her Monday at the Medicaid office picking up her card for her to be able to go to the doctor to find out everything," Medrano said.

Medrano said that the baby's father was no longer in the picture but that that could not dim her daughter's thrill at becoming a mother.

Hmm. Neighbors saw someone cutting through the yard after shots rang out. Gun found at scene evidently not the murder weapon.

Yep. Sounding more and more like murder to me.
