A borough man arrested in May for allegedly attempting to use chloroform to sedate an 11-year-old girl recently waived his preliminary hearing.
Todd Keith Morgan, 50, waived the charges of endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person, sexual abuse of children, attempt at indecent assault and unauthorized administration of an intoxicant, according to court records.
According to court papers,
the victim was able to resist the alleged attack by Morgan, who
tried to use a washcloth soaked in chloroform to sedate the girl.

In addition to the attempt to have contact with the girl, court records indicate Morgan was found in possession of
335 thumbnail photos of the girl in which she was naked. The photos were found on Morgan's computer
After officials had obtained a warrant for Morgan's arrest in May he turned himself.
Court papers indicate
the bottle of chloroform was not recovered from Morgan's residence, as he reportedly told investigators
he threw it from the bridge in Birdsboro.
