Jennifer White is an "Evil Step Mother"

Investigators say 25-year-old Jennifer R. White of Moss Bluff allegedly beat her 7 month old stepson.

"In our opinion it's a clear case of abuse," said Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso.

Sheriff Mancuso says they were called to investigate Friday July 3rd after White brought the baby in to Women and Children's Hospital with a head injury.

"Which is about 4 or 5 days after we believe the incident took place of when the baby was actually hurt," said Mancuso.

After being examined at Women and Children's Hospital, doctors determined the baby was hit in the head, suffering a fractured skull and hematoma - or internal bleeding. Later on July 3rd the baby was transferred to New Orleans Children's Hospital where doctors there confirmed his injuries were from abuse.

"By information we obtained for the doctors, three different doctors, these injuries can only be sustained by what they believe is some type of blunt trauma to the head," said Mancuso.

Sheriff Mancuso says White's story didn't add up. After further questioning, White confirmed some of the allegations. The Sheriff's Office also says the child was in White's care at the time of the injury.

White was arrested Tuesday and charged with 2nd degree cruelty to a juvenile. Meanwhile four other children living inside the home, ranging in age from 8 weeks to 7 years old, are now in state custody pending further investigation. The baby has been released from the hospital and is also in state custody.

Something is up. Where's the dad? For that matter, where's the mom?

I can't imagine beating a 7-month-old. I would "blunt force trauma" my own head first.

It takes a special type of person to look a small wonder in the face and then proceed to beat it. The love and trust that is in those eyes is instantly replaced by fear and tears.

well, Lousy-ana is covering herself in shame lately : perverts, wife beaters, child abusers and God alone knows what else. bring that angel to me, i'm only 45 minutes away...better yet, i'll drive up and get her. God, what a pig that woman is.

Yeah, I am only finding this one news story on google about her. And nothing new has been mentioned yet.

I cant believe this bitch waited 4 or 5 fucking days to bring the baby to the hospital , a fractured skull and hematoma are not that hard to miss.

I am guessing the 2 month old was hers, she must not be handling the whole new mommy thing well. A 2 month old and a 7 month old together can be a real handful. But never enough that they should end up being bashed or hurt like this. Looks like the pressure was to much for her and she snapped.

I had a son a month before I was 18 and a daughter a month before I was 19. I had never been around little ones. I had a lot to learn and it was hard sometimes.

I made mistakes but beating, starving them, or letting them go dirty weren't in the picture. I did carry mine to the doctor for every little small thing. Such an example, letting my son eat a whole jar of beets. He had a bowel movement afterward and I thought he was bleeding. The doctor was patient with me.

I can honestly say neither ever had diaper rash either. This was at a time when the plastic diaper covers for diapers were all you had. No disposable diapers.

I adopted my grandson when my daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer. My two great-grandbabies and their parents live with me now.

It's not age of the parent or age and number of children that make the difference. It is loving and nurturing the child.

I would give everything I own (which isn't much) to have just one day with my babies on my lap.

She certainly had her hands full with 5 children, now she has nothing.

I get the frustration, I think we all do, but that baby went 4-5 days without medical help. Seriously, how did she stand the crying as I'm sure baby was in a lot of pain. And a cry when a baby is hurt is different, you just know something is wrong. He could have closed his eyes never to open them again with a head injury like that. So cruel and vicious to leave that baby to suffer.

Heal completely little one.
