So I have sent e-mails to all of the local media, see if they can find out more and hopefully do a follow-up on these murders. From a creditable source I have found out some interesting news in this case!! If there was a doubt in anyones mind that that Courtney had anything to do with the loss of 3 lives including his own beautiful innocent baby girl Anika..San Antonio P.D. confirmed the obvious that Courtney played NO PART in anyones brutal death July 4, 2009. I had NO DOUBT in my mind and knew it would only be a matter of time that it was confirmed. Although I gasped with disgust when I watched Chris Alllgood say the most stupid thing of all on national tv..." The girl did it "---- I'm glad to have that confirmation now...Still I'm heartbroken.

sorry that I do not have links or able to provide much more details on that information...apparently the information shared was not made public in news papers or anything. All I know is that he most recentley had a court appearance in Bexar County March 8, 2010. I got the news the very next day so yeah I'll def. post again when I can find it printed or it becomes public information...

You are not going to be able to search online and find anything new on this case. I don't know why. I guess there are just a lot of things that go on in San Antonio. I did a search for Chris Allgood and found this thread. I have known Courtney and her family since I was in the 6th grade and we rode the bus together. We lost touch as adults although her grandfather and my dad are still good friends.
My reason for searching Chris Allgood's name was upon recently finding that though they have proved he did in fact kill all three (I mean really his story was pretty much beyond stupid. He woke up, after she killed the other 2, with her holding the gun, a heavily powered one at that, in his face) he was still only charged with Courtney's killing and was set for a bond reduction hearing in the next few weeks. My thoughts are no judge in his/her right mind would reduce it much less let him free unless to use it as a ploy to arrest him right outside for the other murders. I hear though that someone went to visit him and he was beat up and admitted to being someones b***h.

PC or not ya gotta love the way Texas and Oklahoma meter out justice by lethal injection. Now if only white men where disposed of as promptly as black and Hispanic men we would really have some good ol' southern justice!

I check on this case, every week, to see if there is anything new to add. The one year mark will be here in two weeks and I have come to realize that, for the most part, murder trials, usually take between eighteen months and two years to get to jury trial. I have faith, there will be justice for Courtney, Anika and Kevin!
I am glad to hear that his stay at Bexar County hasn't been pleasant, I hope it gets a whole lotta worse before he is sent to the "Big" house, then after much suffering, Allgood is put to death by blunt force trauma to his bowels!

TEXAS CITY — Christopher Allgood, accused of killing a Texas City woman and suspected in the deaths of her young daughter and a friend in a brutal 2009 triple shooting in San Antonio, is set to go to trial next week, Bexar County court officials said.Allgood remained in the Bexar County Jail on $205,000 bond and is scheduled to be in court Sept. 13.
Bones’ mother said she was outraged that no additional charges had been filed in the 14 months since the shootings in an apartment Allgood and Gass shared.
“It tells me the San Antonio Police Department and the (Bexar County District Attorney’s Office) are incompetent,” Pat Bones said.
Gass’ father, Dale Gass, said he heard from investigators about two months ago.
“The last they told me was they would come down here and do some investigation here,” Gass said. “I’ve never heard if they came here or not. They did say they planned to send folks down. DiMartino did not indicate what forensic tests revealed but said the tests were done. Also missing from the evidence is eyewitness testimony or a confession.
“We anticipate that he’s not going to accept accountability or responsibility for shooting the other two,” DiMartino said. “It’s not to say that the police department has given up.”
San Antonio police did not return phone calls or e-mails last week. Calls to Allgood’s defense attorney also were not returned.
Bones said authorities had not provided her with updates about the investigation since the initial weeks after the July 5, 2009, shootings. She was unaware a trial date had been set until contact by The Daily News.
I'm not sure why that Investigators have not come up with more proof to charge 'Not'good with Capital murder in the shooting of Anika and Kevin! Or if they have and this Prosecutors doesn't want to work hard enough to get a conviction!

I was just rambling around on Facebook and realized that some of my former students might have Facebook pages. I looked for names of students from my early years of teaching at Northside in Texas City and found a few of them, all grown up and in their mid-30s! One of the Facebook pages I found belonged to one of my all-time favorite second graders --- Kevin Bones. I smiled to see his adult face, because in it I could still see the blonde-haired mischievous seven-year-old he was in my class.
After additional reading, I was both stunned and saddened to read what had happened to him last summer. Further reading led me to this site. I will keep checking back here, because I want to know what happens with the trial (such as it may be) and it seems like there are some dedicated posters here. (Thank you!) Having lost my brother at a young age to an inexcusable homicide, I know full well the frustration of elusive justice.
It does warm my heart to know that Kevin carried his exceptional artistic ability into his adult life and was also creative in music, that he maintained his free-spirited nature and was able to travel and experience the world! ~ Mrs. E.

So, no news of the Sept. 13 court date? It is amazing to me that the investigators appear to have had so little contact with the victims' families. Maybe someone should sic Nancy Grace on the case! Seems like one she would love to focus her terrier-like investigative chomps on - especially since it involves a toddler of an age close to that of her own children! (If I knew how the families would feel about it, I would be tempted to contact her myself...)

Oh, he did it. No information is being released because of the upcoming trial.
I can only say that I ceased to live the day I lost Court and Ani. I survive only due to my belief I will join them again one day.
The pic someone posted above was the last day I saw them alive, it was our last day together. It was a good day, I never knew it would be our last.
God Bless all of you that follow the trial. It gives me a good feeling inside that people care and mav have loved them as I did, and still do.

Yeah I am still confused on how there isn't enough evidence??? They proved she didn't do it... she had no gun powder residue on her hands! Bones very well wouldn't have killed the child and himself and the baby sure didn't do it either! So who else is there??? Just some random person came in and killed 2 people then left the other 2... I mean really... I agree with whomever said we need to get Nancy Grace on this. Maybe something will be done!
Still nothing??? Unbelievable. I check constantly and ... nothing! I have read his family is quite skilled at getting him "off" on past charges. This better NOT be the case. Kevin, Courtney and especially beautiful baby Anika deserve and must get justice!

Is there any update on his trial? Did he even have a preliminary hearing? Is San Antonio stalling for some reason? They are not very forthcoming with any answers or information.
Both of them had their issues. Courtney was a very troubled young lady. Who knows what that's like to live with. I am not going to rush to judge who did what, but my instincts tell me that it is probable that what he said is true.

She didn't kill her daughter. He did. He is going to hell for it. Straight to the pits of hell. She and her beautiful daughter along with their friend Kevin, are in Heaven. There was ONE person standing in the parking lot firing off a gun like a lunatic. One person who told his friend he just killed them. That person is Chris.

He told his friend who lived upstairs from him that he had just killed Courtney, Anika and Kevin. I guess I thought you were more familiar with the case. ;)
