Its just horrible, we see it everyday all around us and it's getting worse, there really isn't any help for people, the gov't cut funds to all kinds of services

For a few minutes, Miami had been giving $1000 dollars for homeless people who were registered as so. I don't know what that means.

When I was working at Publix, a woman came in. Very sirty. Obviously homeless. We used to give her a bagel now and then. Sometimes the Bakery manager would give her money.
I gave her an old tent I hadn't used in years. She cried. I cried. Hell, I'm teary eyed now. I can't stand to see a homeless woman, but I can't give them money OR a home.
The woman I gave the tent to had been raped and beaten. To say her face was swollen was an understatement.
