A 53-year-old Evansville woman was arrested after police found cocaine hidden between her buttocks, according to a probable cause affidavit.
She was arrested Tuesday night when authorities went to 827 Adams Avenue to conduct a search. Detectives with
the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Joint Drug Task Force had monitored and recorded a controlled cocaine deal at the residence earlier this week, the affidavit said.
The
informant who purchased the cocaine for authorities told police she bought it there from Laron Eskew.
He was not home when police arrived for the search, but Finott and 59-year-old Herman Moore were both present.
According to the affidavit,
Finott kept pulling away from an officer during a search of her person. The officer later discovered a bag containing 17 individually-wrapped cocaine rocks hidden between Finott's buttocks, the affidavit said. The drugs weighed a combined 4 grams. A small amount of additional cocaine was found at the jail when it appeared to fall out of Finott's bra during booking, according to the affidavit.
Police say Finott told investigators Eskew had given her the drugs to sell. She was reportedly in possession of $20 of marked money that had been used in the controlled buy.
Moore, who lives at 827 Adams, was arrested on a preliminary charge of maintaining a common nuisance.
Eskew was not immediately located but is being sought on a charge of conspiracy to deal cocaine.
