    Every Dog Has His Day

    Germany - A drunken man who thought it would be funny to shoot a dog, lost part of his nose as the bleeding animal took its revenge and attacked him.

    The 39-year-old man in Stadtlauringen, Bavaria, got drunk on Saturday evening and started shooting his gun in the yard, police in Würzburg said on Sunday.

    He managed to shoot the five-year-old Bernese mountain dog, which, infuriated, attacked the man and bit off the end of his nose.

    The man fled and called the police, who ensured he was taken to hospital and the dog was taken to a vet.
